SportTrack is an independently run blog. These are the standards we hold ourselves to.
Where our information comes from
We are not at the ground and we do not carry out original reporting. Posts are written from public sources: official scorecards and governing-body statements, live broadcasts, press releases, and reporting published elsewhere. Where a claim comes from someone else’s reporting, we say so and link to it.
Accuracy
We check facts before publishing. Where a situation is still developing and details are unconfirmed, we say that plainly rather than implying more certainty than we have. We do not invent quotes, and we do not present speculation as fact.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it and say so. Substantive corrections are noted on the post itself, and the updated time is shown alongside the original publication date. Report an error to dilsesports@gmail.com.
Bylines
Every post carries a byline. SportTrack has one editor, who writes under the pen name J. R. Patel for privacy — a single, consistent name for one real person, disclosed as a pen name on our About page. We do not invent additional authors, and we do not claim credentials we do not have, to make the site look larger than it is.
Advertising and independence
The site is funded by advertising. Advertisers have no say in what we cover or what we conclude. If a post is ever sponsored or contains affiliate links, it will be labelled clearly at the top.
Use of AI
We use automated tools, including AI, to help research and draft posts. We say so plainly because readers are entitled to know how what they read is made.
No post goes live without a person reviewing it first. Every draft is read by the editor before it is published, and the editor is responsible for what appears under the SportTrack name. Facts, figures and dates are checked against independent sources, and a detail we cannot confirm is left out rather than guessed.
Translations between English and Hindi are held back until a person has reviewed them. An unreviewed translation is not published.
Betting
We do not publish betting tips, odds or predictions, and we do not accept gambling advertising.
